Chelsea have reportedly contacted Messi’s father about a transfer

Spanish sports website www.sport.es are reporting that Chelsea have contacted Lionel Messi’s father about a possible transfer move for the player.

The London club are reportedly willing to pay the €250m breakage clause in Messi’s contract with Barcelona.

Rumours that the player is unhappy with current Barcelona manager Luis Enrique have encouraged Chelsea to approach the player’s representatives.

Messi was left on the bench when Barcelona suffered a defeat to Real Sociedad in La Liga at the weekend.

Signing Messi would be an enormous coup for Mourinho's side, although his price tag means that a number of current players would probably have to be sold for the club to comply with Financial Fair Play(FFP) rules.

Surely these Messi rumours can't be true !? Would be incredible to see him in the prem !!!
