The year in football: a musical review

The lads at Project Babb have reviewed the year in football and presented it to us as a catchy four minute song.

‘Football is in the Mire’ goes through the stories that made the headlines this year, set to the tune of Billy Joel’s ‘We didn’t start the fire’.

“Tech is on the goal lines,

Far too many banter vines,

Argentina beat Iran,

Luis Suarez bit a man.”

Naturally the World Cup features heavily, and Liverpool fans need to brace themselves for the inevitable “slip” reference.
