Down midfielder loses both boots - still sets up a goal

Ross Clarke’s remarkable persistence paid off at the weekend when he produced a perfectly-weighted pass for a goal despite kicking in his socks.

He was playing for Linfield against Dungannon Swifts in the Northern Irish Premiership when somehow both his boots flew off while he was battling for the ball in midfield.
