Show your support for the Boys in Green with a football themed haircut

A Dublin barber is offering free football-related haircuts today for football fans who want to show their support for the national football team.

The Republic of Ireland play Georgia on Sunday in the first match of the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign and barber Sam Donnelly wants fans to show their support on their heads.

He has teamed up with Ireland sponsor’s Three to offer the service from his barbershop on Ormond Quay today Friday September 5.

One keen Ireland supporter has already had his head shaved by Sam in readiness for the game.

“I heard Sam was mad about the Irish football team and I just thought it was a great idea,” said Emmet O’Brien from Coolock.

“Some people wear their heart on their sleeve, I suppose you could say I like to wear mine on the back of my head!”
