Guess who won the Golden Dive award?

Despite a strong field thegoldendive.com decided there had been one stand-out performer in Brazil 2014.

As the German team show off the World Cup trophy to their fans, one European neighbour is awarded a less prestigious prize.

Netherland’s Arjen Robben has been named the best (worst) diver of the tournament, seeing off stiff competition from Marcelo, Thomas Mueller and Fred.

There will be no arguments from Mexico, where Robben diving pinatas have been on sale since the controversial injury-time penalty he was awarded put them out of the World Cup.
