Blackburn Rovers new ad is very strange indeed

Rovers advertise their new kit…by freaking viewers out.

Blackburn Rovers have released a cringe worthy ad for their 2014/2015 kit.

Entitled ‘Birdy’s Date’ we see a middle-aged man seemingly preparing for a hot date, all to the sound of Barry White crooning ‘I’m gonna love you just a little bit more, baby.'

But, instead of meeting his loved one he goes to the Rovers merchandise shop and buys himself the new jersey.

It ends with him pointing into the camera and saying menacingly:

“Rover’s new shirt, you know you want it.”

Honestly, we’re not sure that we do!
