Liverpool to start pre-season at Preston

Liverpool will kick off their pre-season programme with a friendly away to Preston on July 19.

The Reds have a shared bond with the Lilywhites in the form of their iconic former manager Bill Shankly, who had a 16-year playing career at the Lancashire club, and Brendan Rodgers’ side won a warm-up fixture at Deepdale last summer.
