Cantona cautioned over assault

Former soccer star Eric Cantona has reportedly been cautioned for common assault after a man was attacked in Camden in London.

The Manchester United legend was taken into custody after police officers were called yesterday.

The alleged victim did not require medical help at the scene and it's not known whether he will press charges.

Cantona was previously convicted in 1995 after assaulting a Crystal Palace fan during a Premiership soccer match.
