Magpies make 'substantial' Grenier bid

Newcastle have made a move to replace Yohan Cabaye by tabling a bid for Lyon midfielder Clement Grenier.

The Magpies are understood to have made an undisclosed, but substantial offer for the 23-year-old Frenchman.
