Ramires the only absentee for Blues' Champions League opener

Ramires is suspended when Chelsea take on Basle in their Champions League Group E opener tomorrow night.

The Brazil midfielder was sent off in last month’s European Super Cup defeat to Bayern Munich and will miss the clash with the Swiss side, who Chelsea beat en route to winning the Europa League last season.

Manager Jose Mourinho could hand forward Willian, a summer signing from Anzhi Makhachkala, his debut and may opt to shuffle his pack following the loss at Everton as he has no fitness concerns.
