New Arsenal signing Mesut Ozil has explained the opportunity to work under Arsene Wenger was a key reason he decided to leave Real Madrid in a deal reported to be worth £43million.

The 24-year-old became the Gunners’ club-record signing on Monday evening having undergone a medical in Munich, where he is currently on international duty.
