Coyle admits McCarthy interest

Owen Coyle revealed Wigan have received enquiries for in-demand midfielder James McCarthy, but those showing an interest have yet to back up their interest with bids.

The Republic of Ireland international was one of the stars of Latics’ run to FA Cup glory last year and it was thought that he would be one of those departing the DW Stadium following their relegation.
