Republic of Ireland boss Giovanni Trappatoni has named a 29-man provisional squad for next month’s World Cup qualifying meetings with Sweden and Austria.

Republic of Ireland boss Giovanni Trappatoni has named a 29-man provisional squad for next month’s World Cup qualifying meetings with Sweden and Austria.

Richard Dunne has been included after proving his fitness in action for QPR in recent weeks.

Joey O'Brien, Paddy Madden and Robbie Keane have also been added.

Stephen Doyle again misses out.
