Pilkington out of Ireland squad

The Republic of Ireland have confirmed Norwich winger Anthony Pilkington is among three withdrawals from the squad for next week’s friendly against Wales in Cardiff.

It is another blow for the 25-year-old, who has yet to make his full international debut having also been forced to pull out of the game with England at Wembley at the end of last season.
