Champions Sligo Rovers got back to winning ways with a convincing 3-0 win over Derry City to leapfrog the Candystripes back to the top of the table to delight a packed Showgrounds.

Before a bumper crowd of 4,256, Sligo went in a deserved goal ahead at the interval after a scintillating first half of football.
