Limerick smash four past hapless Bray

A brilliantly taken brace of goals each from Axel Bossekota and Shane Tracy earned Limerick their biggest win of the season as they heaped further misery on hapless Bray Wanderers to beat Pat Devlin's strugglers 4-0 at the Carlisle Grounds.

Jason Byrne hit the bar for Bray inside the first minute with a first-time volley from Kevin Knight's cross.

But it got no better than that for Bray was they were 3-0 down by half-time.

Belgian striker Bossekota put Limerick in front on 17 minutes minutes when chipping over advancing Bray keeper Darren Quigley from Danny Galbraith's throughball.

Four minutes later Bossekota was there at the back post to score his second with a side-foot volley from Tracy's superb left wing cross.

Tracy then added a third on 35 minutes with a sublime direct free-kick from 25 yards. And midfielder Tracy did precisely the same again in the 64th minute to complete the rout.

Byrne hit a post late on for Bray who could find no way back as Ryan made good saves from Marty Waters, Ismail Akinade and John Mulroy to keep them out.
