Allen: I'll come back better

Joe Allen hopes Liverpool fans will see the best of him next season after undergoing surgery on his troublesome shoulder.

The 23-year-old Wales midfielder will miss the rest of this campaign having gone under the knife to correct the long-standing issue with his left shoulder, which had left him in discomfort while playing.
