Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has made two late changes to his side ahead of tonight's World Cup qualifier against Sweden.

As expected, James McCarthy comes into the midfield in place of the injured Glenn Whelan, who has been ruled out with an ankle injury.

The other change sees Stoke's Jonathan Walters come into the side.

He will start ahead of Robbie Brady on the wing after Trap had admitted yesterday that he had concerns about the 21-year-old's mental strength ahead of the Group C qualifier.
