Beckham proud of charitable gesture

David Beckham turned last night’s big-money transfer deadline day spending on its head when he revealed he will donate his entire salary at new club Paris St Germain to charity.

That means the former England captain, who signed a five-month deal with the Ligue 1 leaders yesterday, will likely be giving between £2million and 3million to a Paris children’s charity.
