Torres recalled for Chelsea

Fernando Torres was recalled but John Terry had to make do with a place on the bench as Chelsea made two changes for today’s Barclays Premier League game with Arsenal.

Torres started in place of Demba Ba, with Branislav Ivanovic returning in defence as Terry continued his comeback from injury as a substitute.

Arsenal were unchanged from Wednesday night’s FA Cup third-round replay win over Swansea, with Lukas Podolski and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain both ruled out through illness.
