Ferdinand declines to make complaint about coin incident

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has declined to make an official complaint after he was hit by a coin during the Manchester derby, police confirmed today.

Ferdinand was cut above his left eye at the end of the explosive grudge match which pitted United against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on December 9.
