Defensive boost for United

Phil Jones and Nemanja Vidic are set to bolster Manchester United’s defence for their FA Cup trip to West Ham.

Jones has missed three games with a minor injury while Vidic was rested for the New Year’s Day trip to Wigan.

Wayne Rooney (knee) has been ruled out for a further two weeks while Nani (hamstring) will not be considered despite returning to training this morning.
