FA Cup tie too soon for Carrico

Reading manager Brian McDermott has indicated that new signing Daniel Carrico is unlikely to make his debut in tomorrow’s FA Cup tie against Crawley.

Jason Roberts has returned to training after recovering from a hip problem while Nicky Shorey has overcome a virus.

McDermott is likely to make several changes after playing three Barclays Premier League matches in a week.
