FA appalled by 'unacceptable' Ferdinand coin incident

The Football Association has branded the incident that left Rio Ferdinand bleeding at Manchester City yesterday as “unacceptable”.

Manchester United defender Ferdinand appeared to be hit by a coin as he celebrated his side’s third goal in their 3-2 victory at the Etihad Stadium.
