Terry captains Chelsea, Lampard on bench
John Terry captains Chelsea in this afternoon’s Barclays Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, where midfielder Frank Lampard again starts on the bench.
Fernando Torres led the Blues attack as they looked to consolidate their position at the top of the Barclays Premier League table, while Eden Hazard – a one-time target for the Gunners – was in midfield.
Arsenal, who have impressed during an unbeaten start, saw captain Thomas Vermaelen return from a virus, but contract rebel Theo Walcott had to again make do with a place on the bench.
