Liverpool defender out for 'significant period of time'

Liverpool defender Martin Kelly has been ruled out for "a significant period of time" after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament.

The 22-year-old limped off late in yesterday's 2-1 defeat at home to Manchester United after falling awkwardly and appearing to twist his right leg.
