Rooney eyes midfield berth

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney believes he could have a future playing in midfield when his days as a forward come to an end.

Rooney, who is missing England’s World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine through injury, has revealed his thoughts on his future playing plans in his autobiography which is being serialised in the Daily Mirror.
