Report: Walcott rejects new Gunners deal
Theo Walcott could be the latest high-profile player to leave Arsenal, according to a newspaper report.
The England international is into the final year of his contract with the Gunners and the Times newspaper is reporting that he has rejected the contract extension that he was offered by the club.
Manchester City are now believed to be interested in taking advantage of the uncertainty surrounding the player's future after their bid to sign Swansea winger Scott Sinclair fell through this evening.
Walcott's departure would be another blow for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who was forced to sell his captain Robin van Persie under similar circumstances this summer, while the likes of Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy have also moved to Man City in recent seasons.
