Ireland starts for Villa in Capital One Cup

Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert made six changes for the home Capital One Cup second-round clash with Tranmere.

Goalkeeper Brad Guzan, defenders Enda Stevens and Eric Lichaj, midfielders Stephen Ireland and Fabian Delph and striker Andreas Weimann were called into the starting line-up.
