Vertonghen set for Spurs bow

Defender Jan Vertonghen is likely to make his Tottenham debut against West Brom tomorrow after Younes Kaboul was ruled out with a knee injury.

Luka Modric will not feature as Spurs look to finalise his move to Real Madrid this weekend, but Michael Dawson is available despite holding talks with QPR over a potential move this week.

Emmanuel Adebayor is available after his transfer from Manchester City went through on Tuesday, but Scott Parker (Achilles), Giovani Dos Santos (muscle) and Heurelho Gomes (ankle) are out.
