United top charity league

Manchester United have topped a “League of Giving” for football fans.

United supporters, who endured narrowly losing the Premier League title to arch rivals Manchester City at the end of last season, trumped their rivals in a nationwide poll commissioned by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), which promotes charitable giving.
