AVB: High hopes for Kane

Harry Kane is yet to play one minute of Barclays Premier League football, but Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is convinced that the 19-year-old striker is good enough to make an impact on the top flight this year.

Villas-Boas hopes to sign Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor on a permanent deal next week, and it had been expected that the Portuguese would raid the market for another forward before the transfer window shut.
