Capello blasts FA over February exit
Fabio Capello was “p***ed off” with the events leading to his departure as England coach and is adamant he could have taken the team further than successor Roy Hodgson at Euro 2012.
The Italian resigned from his role in February after John Terry was stripped of the national team captaincy by the Football Association while awaiting trial on allegations he racially abused QPR defender Anton Ferdinand. The Chelsea star was cleared earlier this month.
