A cheeky football banner, designed by Irish soccer fans, has been sold at auction for almost €16,000.

A cheeky football banner, designed by Irish soccer fans, has been sold at auction for almost €16,000.

The tricolour flag with the slogan "Angela Merkel Thinks We're At Work" hit the headlines around the world when it was displayed by fans at Dublin Airport, as they made their way to Poland for Euro 2012.
