Greece defender Avraam Papadopoulos will miss the rest of Euro 2012 after damaging knee ligaments in yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Poland, UEFA have confirmed.

Greece defender Avraam Papadopoulos will miss the rest of Euro 2012 after damaging knee ligaments in yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Poland, UEFA have confirmed.

The Olympiacos defender suffered the injury to his left knee in the 37th minute of the tournament’s opening game in an innocuous-looking challenge with Poland striker Robert Lewandowski.
