Tardelli plays down Italy withdrawal talk

World Cup winner Marco Tardelli is not expecting the Republic of Ireland’s Group C rivals Italy to make a sensational withdrawal from Euro 2012.

Manager Cesare Prandelli has insisted he would have no problem with the Italians pulling out of the finals as yet another match-fixing scandal engulfs the country’s domestic game.
