The Republic of Ireland squad have trained in Montacatini and the manager seems to have played his first choice selection during their session in a practice match between the squad.

They face Hungary on Monday in a pre-tournament friendly in Budapest.

Shay Given was in goal with John O'Shea, Richard Dunne, Sean St Ledger and Stephen Ward across the back four.

It was Damien Duff and Aidan McGeady on the wings with Glenn Whelan and Keith Andrews in the centre and Kevin Doyle and Robbie Keane up front.
