Danny North scored twice for the third game running as Sligo Rovers beat Shelbourne 3-0 to go eight points clear at the top of the table.

Danny North scored twice for the third game running as Sligo Rovers beat Shelbourne 3-0 to go eight points clear at the top of the table.

The little English striker out-muscled Andy Boyle from Danny Ventre's long ball to get through one-on-one with Dean Delany and fire home the opening goal on 43 minutes.
