Shay hoping City can win title

Former Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given believes it would be good news for the Premier League if his old club press home their advantage over Manchester United and win the title.

The Blues beat United 1-0 last night to return to the top of the table on goal difference, and victory in their final two matches against Newcastle and QPR will almost certainly be enough to secure their first championship since 1968.
