IFAB to test two goal-line systems

Football’s law-makers today announced that they will go forward with final tests on two goal-line technology systems.

Six other systems have been ruled out after a series of experiments by scientists in Switzerland.

The International FA Board (IFAB) will now run final tests on two systems – one by British company Hawk-Eye and the other developed by German firm GoalRef - ahead of a decision in July.
