Trap makes duo wait for debut

Republic of Ireland new boys James McClean and Shane Duffy will have to wait for their chance after manager Giovanni Trapattoni kept faith with his big names for tomorrow night’s friendly against the Czech Republic.

The pair, along with Wigan midfielder James McCarthy, could figure as substitutes, but the Italian will start with what is largely his tried and tested team.
