Villas-Boas admits Chelsea confidence suffering

Andre Villas-Boas was defiant about Chelsea’s hopes of reaching the Champions League quarter-finals despite admitting to a crisis of confidence at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues’ stuttering season almost hit a new low yesterday when they narrowly avoided crashing out of the FA Cup in what was a dismal 1-1 draw against Birmingham.
