Aston Villa keeper Shay Given returned after a six-week absence with a hamstring injury in place of Brad Guzan for their Barclays Premier League clash with Everton.

Gabriel Agbonlahor replaced Emile Heskey (Achilles) up front with new loan signing, Los Angeles striker Robbie Keane, named among the Villa substitutes.

Everton boss David Moyes included new signing, midfielder Darron Gibson from Manchester United, and handed a first league start to central defender Shane Duffy in place of Sylvain Distin (hamstring).
