England midfielder Scott Parker returned to the Tottenham team for the first time in three games, replacing Jake Livermore in the hosts’ only change from the side that beat Everton 2-0 on Wednesday night.

Wolves made six changes to the team that was held to a goalless draw against local rivals Birmingham in the FA Cup third round last weekend with top goalscorer Steven Fletcher coming back into the side.

There were also recalls for goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, Kevin Foley, on-loan Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong, David Edwards and Matt Jarvis.
