United reject Newcastle bid

Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Manchester United have turned down a bid from Newcastle for youngster Ravel Morrison.

The 18-year-old was a member of United’s FA Youth Cup winning side last term but has failed to make the breakthrough this season that many anticipated, leading to the Magpies making a move.
