Reds issue statement outlining efforts in Adeyemi incident

Liverpool have issued a statement outlining the work which has been done since last night to identify the culprit responsible for allegedly abusing Oldham’s 20-year-old defender Tom Adeyemi during the Reds’ 5-1 FA Cup third round victory.

The suggestion – yet to be confirmed by either club or the police – is the comments were of a racial nature.
