Smalling still ill

Manchester United will be selecting from the same squad for Sunday’s FA Cup third round tie at Manchester City.

Chris Smalling (tonsillitis) is still out, which is likely to mean Phil Jones partnering Rio Ferdinand in defence.

Anders Lindegaard is likely to continue in goal, although Dimitar Berbatov’s place is at risk as United look to avoid suffering a third consecutive competitive defeat against their local rivals.
