Beram Kayal is out of Celtic’s trip to Dunfermline in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League on Monday.

The Israel midfielder was carried off on a stretcher in the 1-0 win over Rangers on Wednesday with an ankle injury which was scanned yesterday.

Assistant manager Johan Mjallby revealed that they were waiting on results but that Kayal could be out for 10 days at least while new signing Mikael Lustig will not be involved.

Provisional squad: Forster, Matthews, Rogne, Mulgrew, Ledley, Brown, Ki, Wanyama, Forrest, Samaras, Hooper, Stokes, Zaluska, Kelvin Wilson, Cha, Bangura, McCourt, McGeouch.
