Graham strike gives Swansea first-half lead over QPR

Danny Graham’s sixth goal of the season put Swansea on course for another home win at the Liberty Stadium.

The south Wales club’s record signing grabbed the only goal of the opening half in the 14th minute as he brought down a Wayne Routledge cross before turning and curling low into the net as QPR appealed for handball.

Heidar Helguson had enjoyed the visitors’ best chances but twice headed over at the far post, while Joey Barton brought an acrobatic save from Michel Vorm.
