Loan trio head back to West Brom

West Brom have recalled three players from loan spells to bolster their squad ahead of tomorrow’s clash at Newcastle and the festive programme.

Albion boss Roy Hodgson has injury concerns which have prompted midfielder George Thorne (Portsmouth), defender Jara Reyes (Brighton) and striker Marc-Antoine Fortune (Doncaster) to be brought back.

James Morrison has ruled himself out of the Newcastle clash with a hamstring problem while fellow midfielders Youssouf Mulumbu (knee) and Paul Scharner (leg) are also doubtful.

In addition, Scharner and right-back Steven Reid are on four bookings and just one yellow card away from suspension.
